Migrate from Bird to another BSP (Business Service Provider)

Overview

Meta's WhatsApp Business API allows WhatsApp Business Accounts (WABA) phone numbers to switch between business service providers.

⚠️ If you migrate to a BSP outside Bird, the number integrated to the platform must be your own. If you have a Bird VMN (virtual mobile number), you will not be able to migrate this number to another BSP.

Solution

• The Meta Business Account must have a verified status.

• The existing WABA must have a status of approved.

• Disable 2FA (Two-Step Verification) for the phone number. This step is crucial.

• There is no need to delete the WABA or the phone number.

That's it! You can migrate the number to your new BSP.
