# Migrate from Bird to another BSP (Business Service Provider)

## Overview

Meta's WhatsApp Business API allows WhatsApp Business Accounts (WABA) phone numbers to switch between business service providers.

:warning: If you migrate to a BSP outside Bird, the number integrated to the platform must be your own. If you have a Bird VMN (virtual mobile number), you will not be able to migrate this number to another BSP.

## Solution

* The Meta Business Account must have a **verified** status.
* The existing WABA must have a status of **approved**.
* [Disable 2FA (Two-Step Verification)](https://developers.facebook.com/docs/whatsapp/cloud-api/phone-numbers#disabling-two-step-verification) for the phone number. ***This step is crucial.***
* There is no need to delete the WABA or the phone number.

That's it! You can migrate the number to your new BSP.
