# Recipient

Recipients in the Wallet section allow you to add bank account details for transferring or paying out funds.

During the Beta phase, only [payouts](https://docs.bird.com/applications/payments/bird-pay-beta/concepts/payouts) are supported, meaning you can transfer money out of Bird Wallet to a bank account only using [Payout](https://docs.bird.com/applications/payments/bird-pay-beta/how-to/manage-payout). No manual one-off transfers are supported yet
