# Refund a Payment

In this article, you'll learn how to refund a payment in Bird Pay.&#x20;

A payment can be refunded only if its status is Succeeded or Paid. You can read more about Payments [here](/applications/payments/bird-pay-beta/concepts/payments.md).

1. Navigate to **Payments** and search for the transaction you want to refund.

2. Under more options, click **Refund.**
3. Enter the amount you want to refund. It can be a full/partial refund.

4. Click **Refund transaction** and that's it.

Refund once initiated, cannot be cancelled/reversed.
