# Unable to Install Channel

You're not able to activate your WhatsApp channel?

This article will help you if you encounter the following issue:

* Your channel appears as Pending
* You're receiving an error message during the activation

***

**Your channel appears as Pending**

Please note that it can take up to 10 minutes to see the status change to "Activate channel".

* If you're waiting for more than 10 minutes, please log out and log in again. Does it still show Pending status?
* If the Pending status persists, please [submit a request](https://support.messagebird.com/hc/en-us/requests/new) at Customer Support and ask for a new certificate for your number.

**You're receiving an error message during the activation**

Our Support team created the channel for you and only request you to click on "Activate Channel". Sometimes, this button does not appear yet. Please note that it can take up to 10 minutes to see it.

When you click on Activate channel:

* Are you receiving any verification code?
* Could you try using the other method (phone call or SMS)
* Are you getting an error message?

If the issue persists, [submit a request](https://support.messagebird.com/hc/en-us/requests/new) at Customer Support with the error message or let us know at which step you are stuck.
