MessageBird offers two ways to see more info on your SMS traffic:

* [Insights](#h_01F9KG2CK8SK6D166W2G9T2QW2)
* [SMS Overview](#h_01F9KG2S36QJEVX189X0R1MGCD)
 * [For SMS sent or received within the last 30 days](#h_01F9KG31VBNDBEWY9NH2S57ZXS)
 * [For SMS sent or received more than 30 days ago](#h_01F9KG35N29PDQX6CERW7ED3TK)

#### Insights

In Insights you can see SMS & Voice reports for your traffic on an aggregated level. You can filter Insights so you can see the total amount of SMS for a given period, along with other stats, in one overview. Checking your Insights is a good way to get a quick overview of how your traffic is doing, however, you do not see details such as the end-users to which an SMS may have failed to deliver. For this, you can check the SMS Overview.

#### SMS Overview

**For SMS sent or received within the last 30 days**

**You can view sent, received and scheduled messages in your** [**SMS Overview**](https://dashboard.messagebird.com/en/messages/list/inbox) **in the 'SMS'-menu on the left-hand side of your Dashboard.**

You can search for a specific Number in the list and can filter the overview on status, for instance to see which SMS were undelivered to the end-user.

**For SMS sent or received more than 30 days ago**

For messages sent and received beyond 30 days (up to 6 months), you can export a CSV file. CSV files can be opened in spreadsheet applications - such as Excel. Go to your [SMS Overview](https://dashboard.messagebird.com/en/messages/list/inbox) in the 'SMS'-menu on the left-hand side of your Dashboard and select 'Export'.

Within that overview, you can select the period, message type (sent and/or received), extra fields to export and the file delimiter.

You can use your CSV file to filter according to things like status, delivery date and originator and get more insight into your SMS traffic on an individual level.
