# Exporting an email to Eloqua

Taxi for Email exports to folders in Eloqua. You can either create a new email or update an existing email within your folders. You can choose a default folder for exporting emails in the connector settings. This can make it a lot quicker to select the correct folder when exporting out of Taxi. You’re also able to update an existing email through the connector. If a mailing has been exported to Eloqua but a last-minute change is needed, you can make the change in Taxi and quickly override the email that has previously been exported.

To export a version to Eloqua you will need to select the Project, Mailing and finally the Version you would like to export. You can export from the Mailing level, Version level or from the visual editor. To export:

1. In Taxi, head to your Home screen\
   Select the Project that contains the version you want to export
2. Select the Mailing\
   If you are Admin you can select the Kebab menu and select 'Export' on the mailing level
3. After selecting the Mailing you will see the Versions page\
   Select the 'Export Mailing' option on the right-hand side of the screen under the Exports section. Alternatively, select the version you want to export to open it in the visual editor.
4. In the visual editor, select 'Export Mailing'

8\. Under Tracking\
On the export page, there is an option to append tracking. In Eloqua, you're able to apply tracking parameters to your links. This option enables you to choose whether you want to include these or not on your links when you export out of Taxi. If you select this option your links will have the Eloqua tracking applied when the email lands in Eloqua. This option is not related to any link tracking you have set up in Taxi

9\. Click 'Start Export'\
You will see a green banner when your export is complete and you can open your exported email in Eloqua from Taxi.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.bird.com/taxi/connectors/eloqua-connector/exporting-an-email-to-eloqua.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
