# Branding Sub Templates: Setting Brand Fields

Under 'Field Configuration', you can lock elements of the template, choose the parts you want to brand, and select elements to populate dynamically using version sets.

1. To set a brand field, select the element you want to change or lock e.g Header Background colour.

2\. Select whether you want to lock it, brand it or change it dynamically according to a version set.

3\. Press save.

4\. Next click 'Default Branding Values' and choose whether you want to hide the field, set a value for it, or both
