# Block a phone number

*This option can only be executed users with **Admin profile** and for inbound phone.*

#### Blocking phone numbers from the Toky web app <a href="#blocking-phone-numbers-from-the-toky-web-app" id="blocking-phone-numbers-from-the-toky-web-app"></a>

To block a phone number you must follow these steps:

**1.** Go to your [**Call History**](https://app.toky.co/business/call_history)\
**2.** Search for the phone number you want to block\
**3.** Click on the **blue button** located in the right of the desired phone call to display the **call details** window

**4.** In the call details window, click on the **More Actions** button to display some menu options.

**5.** Click on the **Block Contact** button to block the contact. This option is not available for outbound calls or web calls.

#### Blocking phone numbers contacting customer service <a href="#blocking-phone-numbers-contacting-customer-service" id="blocking-phone-numbers-contacting-customer-service"></a>

You can also contact our support team, and they will apply the restriction for you, so you will never receive calls and avoid your agents to call to that phone numbers again.

The request should be sent by email to <support@toky.co> or by chat in our [website](https://toky.co/) and it will only be received from users with an **admin profile**.
