How to setup flow for number forwarding

Forwarding an incoming call to another number can be done with a flow. You can use the template Forwards a call to a number by Bird

Prerequisites

• Channel for the incoming number must be healthy

• The option in that channel "Make calls with inbox" must be disabled

Setting up the forwarding flow

1. Navigate to Flows on the left side bar

1. Go to Template flows and select Forwards a call to a number by Bird, and save this template to your library

1. Go to that flow and start editing

1. Select the instance (incoming number). You can add multiple instances here. Select the trigger - incoming call received Save and skip the test

1. Insert the To number. Must be in international format (E164) Next and skip test.

1. Publish Draft

Notes

• When adding more numbers/channels do not forget to save that flow step before publishing. Otherwise the added numbers will not be there.

• Testing in general is done by triggering the test. Then make the incoming call. This will get all available parameters. After saving the test, these parameters can then be used in next flow steps.
