Before you buy a number
Number subscriptions are paid for by the balance on your account. To be able to buy a number successfully, you need to make sure:
You have topped up your account. You cannot purchase a Number with test credits, and you should have enough balance on your account to cover the cost of 1 month. You can find the cost for a Number here.
Your balance is in one of the following currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, SGD, CAD, AUD. If you need to switch your currency, please reach out to our Support team.
Buying a number
To buy a number, you can visit this page or click on the numbers icon in your dashboard. Press the 'Buy a number' button, which will take you through the number buying process.
On the next page, you can select the type of number you want from dropdown menu's. You will need to select a capability (Voice, SMS or both) and a country. Depending your request, you may also need to fill in a type of number (local, mobile) and an area/prefix. Based on your selection, available numbers will appear with their monthly cost. For some numbers you will see an extra column called 'Registration'. If registration is required, we will ask you for further info and documents to do so in a few steps.
To add the Number to your order, press the 'Buy' button. An order summary will appear on the right to show you what you are purchasing. Make sure you have read through the summary, as this may contain important information about your billing cycle.
In some cases, we need to collect some details from you on who is buying the Number. This is often due to regulations and restrictions in specific countries. If further information is needed for the Number you are buying, we will ask you for details and documents before you can confirm your subscription. Please fill in all information accordingly and make sure you have the correct files added. If you have any questions on submitting these, please reach out to our Support team.
When you are finished with your number selection, press 'Continue'. A confirmation pop-up window will appear with some details on the subscription in your order. Press 'Start Subscription' to add the Number to your account. If you were asked to provide further details or documents, our team will review this and you will receive an email when this is done.
Paying for a number
Subscription costs will be deducted from your account balance. To keep your subscription active, you should make sure you have enough balance in your account to cover the cost of the upcoming period. Generally, the subscription period is set to 1 month, unless stated otherwise during the checkout process. If you need the interval to be adjusted to a 3/6/12 month interval please contact our support team.
You can view all your active numbers on your Subscriptions page by clicking on your workspace name in the top right corner > Billing > Subscriptions. Subscriptions are renewed automatically, meaning that this will stay active as long as there is enough balance in the account. If you do not have enough balance in the account to renew your subscription, we will send you two top-up reminders: 1 month and 2 weeks before the renewal of the subscription. If you have insufficient balance on the account to renew the subscription on the renewal date, the Number will be disconnected and you will be notified by email.
Cancelling a number
If you wish to cancel the Number, you can end your subscription any time directly through the Dashboard in the Billing section.
Benelux customers
If your account is a credit-based account, it is not possible to purchase a Number directly from your balance. Please reach out to our Support team who will help you get started with a Number. An invoice will be generated in your account in accordance with your chosen billing frequency and can be paid in the ‘Finances’ section of your account. If the invoice is not paid within 30 days, the Number will be disconnected and you will be notified by email. If you wish to cancel the Number, you can end your subscription any time directly through the Dashboard in the Billing section.
