# Can I port numbers to MessageBird?

We might be able to port your number from a different provider to MessageBird.

Please reach out to our Support team via [this page](https://support.messagebird.com/hc/en-us/requests/new) so we can advise you on this request. Don't forget to include in your message:

* The country where the number is based.
* The type of number (SMS capable, Voice capable, or both).
* If a SIM card is required. NOTE: If the number is attached to a SIM card from a mobile provider, those numbers can not be ported.
