Custom domain functionality

What is it?

By setting up a custom domain, the 24sessions product and video calls will be hosted on the domain you choose, instead of on 24sessions.com

For example: videocalling.company-abc.com instead of company-abc.24sessions.com

By default 24sessions calls are hosted on a [.24sessions.com] URL. However, when guests interact with your organisation via video, it might be confusing to see [.24sessions.com] in the domain, and some guests might even consider it a phishing attempt.

A custom domain for video calls will result in a more tailored experience for a guest, without any reference to 24sessions.

There are two options for setting up a custom domain:

  1. Setting up a custom domain for all your meeting types

  2. Setting up different custom domains for all your meeting types

  • Do I need resources from my organisation to set up a custom domain?

    • Yes, typically someone from your IT department needs to point your chosen domain name to the 24sessions server and needs to send 24sessions a certificate. Please reach out to your Customer Success Manager
