Contact profile

In the image below, you can see what a customer profile looks like when you open it in Inbox.

When you open a contact's profile in Inbox, you'll be able to see three tabs, each containing information about that contact:

  • Attributes

  • Activity

  • Conversations


In the Attributes tab, you can see information about the contact, including:

  • Identifiers (in the example above, the identifier is a Facebook ID.)

  • MessageBird-sourced attributes, and any custom attributes that have been created in Contacts, including information such as:

    • Display name

    • First name

    • Last name

    • Avatar URL (possibly sourced from a channel. In the image above, the URL was sourced from Facebook Messenger.)

    • Country

    • Time the contact was created

    • Time the contact was updated

    • Locales (languages)

    • Gender

    • Custom attribute

    • Groups

  • Connector-sourced attributes, such as information from Hubspot.


In the Activity tab, you can see the activity history of the contact.

This includes information such as when the contact was added to the conversation as a participant, and any events that have happened in connectors.


In the Conversations tab, you can see a complete history of every conversation the contact has had with your business. This makes it easy for you to quickly jump into previous conversations to see who they spoke to and how things were resolved.
