Schedule a campaign

Learn how to schedule a campaign in Bird. Set a future date, time, and timezone for automatic sending.

What you'll need

  • A campaign that's set up, tested, and ready to go.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. In the bottom left-hand corner of the campaign builder, click Schedule, then click Fixed Send Time.

  1. Under Date and Time, select the date and time that you want to schedule your campaign to be sent at.

  2. Under Timezone, select the time zone that you are using to schedule your campaign.

  1. Click Schedule in the top right-hand corner.

Can I delete a scheduled campaign?

Yes, you can delete campaigns that have been scheduled.

  1. To delete a scheduled campaign, go to the campaigns overview page: Marketing > Campaigns > Scheduled.

  1. Click on the "..." icon on the right-hand side of the campaign. Click Unschedule.

  1. Confirm your selection in the pop-up.

Can I edit a campaign once I've scheduled it?

You can only modify the date and time the campaign is scheduled for. If you want to edit campaign details like recipient list, sender name or campaign content you need to unpublish the campaign, make the edits and then reschedule.

  1. Go to the campaigns overview page: Marketing > Campaigns > Scheduled.

  1. Click on the "..." icon on the right-hand side of the campaign. Click Edit Campaign.

  1. Confirm you want to unschedule and edit.

  1. Make the changes you need, then click Schedule. Before rescheduling, verify your scheduled time is still in the future—if the original time has passed while you were editing, you'll need to select a new date and time.
