For the purpose of provision of the services, MessageBird acts as a data processor. 

 

For the following purposes, MessageBird acts as a data controller:

* billing and other administrative and technical purposes; 
* detecting and preventing misuse of our services. 
* Training and improving service quality 
* Fulfilling a legal obligation to assist in official disclosure requests from formal investigative authorities (in accordance with MessageBid’s [Disclosure Request Policy](https://messagebird.com/en/legal/disclosure-requests/).
