# I am having login or authentication issues with the Old API

Having issues accessing the Old API with your username and password.

Remember that your MessageBird account login is separate to the Old API's username and password.

If you forgot your MessageBird account login, you can recover your password [here](https://dashboard.messagebird.com/en-gb/login). If you are unable to find the email that is linked to your account please reach out to our Support team via [this page](https://www.messagebird.com/contact) with an order or invoice number so that we can locate your account.

If you forgot your Old API credentials, log in to your MessageBird Dashboard using your MessageBird email and password, and find your Old API credentials on the left developer panel → 'API access (old)' tab or by directly clicking [here](https://dashboard.messagebird.com/en-gb/developers/access-v1).
