**EU VAT Number**

If you have a valid EU VAT number but have not added this yet, you can add your company registered VAT number to your Workspace[ here,](https://dashboard.messagebird.com/en-gb/settings/details) or by clicking on the name of your Workspace in the top right corner and selecting Settings > General Settings.

Underneath your company details you can enter select 'Enter VAT Number' to fill this out in the field below. Your VAT number will be checked with the VIES Registry and once approved, your VAT scenario will be applied to your invoices.

**Non-EU VAT Number**

Customers outside the EU do not need to pay VAT and therefore adding a VAT number is not required. If you do need your VAT number to appear on your invoice, you can add this to the address field [here](https://dashboard.messagebird.com/en/settings/details), or by clicking on the name of your Workspace in the top right corner and selecting Settings > General Settings.

You can select 'I have a separate billing address' and fill in your VAT number in the 'Attn' field.
