# Live Chat message statuses

There are now customer-facing message statuses in Live Chat on the Omnichannel Widget.

Live Chat statuses mirror the message statuses visible to agents in Inbox, including:

* Sending (Pending)
* Sent
* Delivered

Currently, "Read" status is not displayed to customers in Live Chat.&#x20;

Your customers can now also retry sending any message that failed.
