# WhatsApp messaging restriction toward Turkey

Currently, customers in Turkey cannot receive messages sent by businesses using Cloud API. However, Turkey's businesses can still send messages using the Cloud API.

Suppose you already have a Turkish number and want to connect it with us via your WABA. In that case, the WhatsApp channel will automatically be installed as on-premise instead of Cloud API so that you can send WhatsApp messages to your end-users inside of Turkey.

However, If you are interested in acquiring a voice Virtual Mobile Number (VMN) from us, we can provide one as long as you have a registered business in Turkey, as per our supplier requirements.

Please reach out to our Support team via [this form](https://support.messagebird.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360001707078), and we will let you know what documents you need to provide.
